Exhausted and frustrated with how my body was behaving: constant pain, muscle tightness, stiff back and sciatica.

It was impacting every aspect of my life.

I couldn’t do my hobbies.

I couldn’t read books, because my neck would ache.

The turning point?

I became a Pilates coach. I truly began to understand how stress, tension and lack of movement affect the body.

And the real answer isn’t a ‘quick fix’ or a few back stretches here and there.

It was approaching the body as a system. That’s when things really changed.‍ ‍

Day by day, I moved more, my nervous system calmed down, my body began to relax and release tension as I increased the challenge week-by-week.

It didn’t eradicate all pain, (because pain is very complex) BUT it got me feeling more mobile than I’d ever been. More calm and regulated than ever. And the happiest I’d ever felt.
